Speakers: Fernando Landa and Linda Quindt
Fernando Landa specializes in real estate matters with broad expertise working on large transactions across the country and across the asset spectrum. Having previously served as the General Counsel of a large real estate company, he understands the client perspective and brings a well-grounded, business-minded approach to the practice of law.
Fernando represents public real estate investment trusts, private equity funds, institutional investors, and entrepreneurial developers in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, management, and disposition of commercial real estate assets. He handles a large volume of leasing matters and landlord/tenant disputes. Fernando also possesses a unique expertise in workout deals with extensive experience negotiating and documenting thousands of workout transactions and navigating the resolution of distressed real estate loans through the judicial process.
Prior to founding Harvest, Fernando practiced law at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP and Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3) and was the General Counsel of Trigild. He is recognized as one of California’s leading real estate attorneys, having received dozens of accolades for his work and community leadership.
Linda E. Quindt is the Firm Administrator for the law firm of Finch, Thornton & Baird, a 30 attorney law firm in the UTC area. She has worked for the past 43 years in law firms and has managed small to large firms with an emphasis on efficiency and people skills. Quindt is a past president of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), San Diego Chapter and a past Board Member for ALA International. She acquired her CLM (Certified Legal Manager) designation in 2004 and was honored with the Spirit of ALA Award in 2008. She is an instructor at UC San Diego Extension, teaching paralegal career development.
