Lisa M. Piehl, the Program Manager of the Estate and Gift Tax Policy Division of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), will be addressing updates related to estate and gift tax matters within the IRS. She will also detail what happens to estate tax returns (Form 706) and gift tax returns (Form 709) once it’s submitted to the IRS. Ms. Piehl very much welcomes questions throughout the presentation. Anna Soliman, Trust counsel of Fiduciary Trust International of California, will moderate the discussion.

Lisa M. Piehl has been the Program Manager of the Estate and Gift Tax Policy Division of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) since 2008. Ms. Piehl has been with the IRS estate and gift tax division since 1994, in different roles such as Estate and Gift Tax Attorney, Supervisory Attorney and Attorney Advisor. Lisa works out of the Woodland Hills IRS office.
