Delegation to Mexico
August 22 – August 23
Join California Lawyers Association and its International Law and Immigration Section on our first ever Delegation Trip to Mexico City. Registration is open for a maximum of 35 attendees.
Hotels: Participants must make their own reservations at their own expense.
Registration deadline has been extended to Monday, August 19, 2024.
Hotel Information
A block of rooms at the group rate of $244/night plus taxes and fees has been secured at the InterContinental Hotel in the Polanco Area.
To make a reservation at the group rate, you either can call the hotel at 1-800-344-0548 or email Ricardo Martinez at Ricardo_martinez@grupopresidente.com and refer to the group code COPARMEX.

Thursday, August 22 – Professional Network Day
- Breakfast with U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar (pending confirmation) or another high ranking U.S. Embassy Official at Intercontinental Hotel
- Visit to the offices of the Creel Law Firm
- Lunch at Hacienda de los Morales and Round Table with the leaders of BMA, ANADE and INCAM
- Signing of Friendship Agreement with BMA
- Visit to the Archaeology Museum
Friday, August 23 – Legal Tourism Day
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transportation to the Mexican Senate for a tour of the building and the opportunity to learn about Mexico’s federal legislative branch
- Transportation to the historic downtown to visit the Supreme Court and take a tour of the magnificent building and murals
- Visit to the zocalo (the main city plaza) for lunch at the Terraza at Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico restaurant that overlooks the main historic square, providing views of the National Palace, the Cathedral, and the Municipal building for the City of Mexico
Transportation back to the hotel; guests will have time to visit other places or enjoy a nice dinner (not included in package)
