2021 Joint Litigation and Appellate Summit – Day Two

Join us for the online Litigation and Appellate Summit!
Earn up to 10 Hours of MCLE, which includes 3.5 Hours of Legal Specialization in Appellate Law, 1 Hour of Elimination of Bias
We kick off our Summit with programs of interest to all trial and appellate practitioners, including our ever popular review of the current SCOTUS term with U.C. Berkeley School of Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and former Strict Scrutiny co-host Jaime Santos; our “Updates” panel of important rule, legislative, and case law changes for litigators, appellate lawyers, and ADR practitioners; panels on persuasive legal writing and best practices in the post-pandemic era that feature prominent California jurists, including Court of Appeal Justices Kathleen Banke, Elizabeth Grimes, and Elena Duarte, and Superior Court Judges Samuel McAdam, Sunshine Sykes, and Audra Ibarra; a keynote by California’s Judicial Appointments Secretary Luis Céspedes; and a panel on diversity, equity, and inclusion moderated by Litigation Section chair Terrance Evans and featuring some of the highest profile bar association leaders and civil rights attorneys in California.
