California Lawyers Association to Present the 2023 Annual Meeting in San Diego September 21-23

Stellar Line-up of Four Inspirational Keynote Speakers to Cover Wide Range of Industry Topics

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (September 5, 2023): The California Lawyers Association (CLA) is proud to present the 2023 Annual Meeting, a multi-faceted three-day event happening September 21-23 in San Diego. With a packed itinerary highlighted by four distinguished keynote speakers, this industry event also includes trending discussions and evolving topics across all legal practice settings. Of great interest to those studying law, the event features a specialized Law Student Track that brings law students from across California together to engage in interactive presentations and focused discussions, while also providing opportunities to network with legal professionals, exhibitors, and potential employers.

With an “Experience the Power of Community” theme, the 2023 Annual Meeting will kick-off with keynote speaker Bryan Stevenson, Founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative that will be followed by a keynote address from California Supreme Court Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero. In the days that follow, other prestigious speakers will include Camille Vasquez, Partner, Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group, Brown Rudnick, and Dr. Chris Mattmann, international expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The annual festivities will end with the Presidents Gala, a red-carpet, black-tie affair hosted in partnership with the California Judges Association. The 2023 Annual Meeting is open to members, non-members, committee members, law students, and interested media (upon advance request and registration).
