Mediation Volunteer Panel 25-Hour Training for Attorneys Fundamentals of Mediation for Court-Connected Cases
This FREE virtual interactive course, offered by the Court and taught by expert mediator and trainer Talin Bahadarian, satisfies the training requirements for the Court’s Mediation Volunteer Panel (MVP). The program is MCLE certified. Participants will be provided opportunities to gain mediation experience after the training to meet MVP requirements.
If volunteer attorneys are receiving Court-sponsored training, they must prepare for and conduct a minimum of eight pro bono mediations for MVP, up to three hours long and held virtually over a 24-month period.
The selection process for participation in the training and serving on the panel includes a qualifying review of application materials and a virtual interview.
Review the MVP qualifications and download the application at LACourt.org/ADR.
