Invitation to March Meeting

The Insurance Law Standing Committee invites its constituency and all interested members of the public to attend its virtual meeting on March 16, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The meeting will focus on insurance case law and regulatory updates, as well as other insurance relevant content.  There is no obligation involved in meeting attendance.  Come see what the Committee is about and join the discussion!

The Insurance Law Standing Committee serves as a forum to educate BLS members, members of the State Bar of California, and the public in general on current issues and developments in insurance law.  Insurance Law Standing Committee members practice in all areas of insurance law from regulatory and transactional issues to coverage and litigation.  The Committee holds regular meetings that typically include case law, regulatory and legislative updates, as well as occasional guest speakers providing insight on particular hot topics in insurance law or regulatory perspectives.  The Committee also communicates with the California State Legislature and other groups concerning proposed legislation and regulations affecting insurance, and sponsors and co-sponsors insurance industry relevant symposiums, webinars, and other programs.
